Running a business is no small feat. Most business owners I meet are talented, hardworking, and driven. They’ve built something from scratch, wear multiple hats, and often achieve results that many others would envy.

Yet despite all this capability, many still find themselves stuck. Projects stall, opportunities slip by and the same challenges keep showing up quarter after quarter.

Why? Because intelligence and effort alone aren’t enough. A big part of what is missing is accountability - and without it, even the smartest entrepreneurs fall into the same traps.

This is what I call the Accountability Gap: the space between knowing what to do and consistently following through.

The Myth of Self-Sufficiency

Business owners are used to being resourceful. They pride themselves on independence and problem-solving. But that strength often turns into a weakness: the belief that they can and should carry the full load alone.
